N. B.   In order to comply with new data protection legislation, we have to destroy the list of U3A members previously retained by Mike Price for the purpose of circulating information on TVN Events.
In future members will have to opt in to such lists - it is no longer sufficient to be given the option to opt out.  If you would like to receive information directly from TVN with details of Study Days and Workshops, please email with your request to be put on the list.  You can, of course, use the same address to ‘unsubscribe' at any time.

Albert Einstein 1879 – 1955

105 members of 33 U3As attended the all-day event in Benson on 23rd June for a fascinating presentation by Dr Roger Luther from Preston Park U3A on Albert Einstein at one of our increasingly popular Thames Valley Network events .

Everyone agreed that the presentations were excellent and Roger cleverly avoided ‘blinding us with science’!  The day was divided into three sections (with intervals for coffee and lunch) and by popular request he has very kindly allowed us to publish his excellent PowerPoint presentations on this website.
To view these you will either need PwerPoint installed, or download PowerPoint Viewer from
